Key Responsibilities
Create 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
Prepare detailed 2D engineering drawings with proper dimensions and tolerances.
Assist senior design engineers in product development and design modifications.
Modify existing designs based on engineering requirements.
Prepare and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials) and design documentation.
Understand manufacturing processes and design components considering manufacturability.
Assist in design calculations and basic engineering analysis.
Coordinate with Production,
Quality and Purchase teams whenever required.
Review drawings and ensure accuracy before release.
Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions and design changes.
Learn and follow company standards, design procedures and safety requirements.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of SolidWorks is mandatory.
Knowledge of 3D modelling and 2D drafting.
Understanding of engineering drawing and basic GD&T; concepts.
Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.
Positive knowledge of MS Office.
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to learn current design tools and technologies.
