Equity Research Analyst

About the Role

As an Equity Research Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in developing proprietary investment theses and providing actionable investment recommendations. This position requires in-depth financial analysis, continuous market monitoring, and a solid focus on assessing downside risks to maximize risk-adjusted returns for our portfolio managers.

Key Responsibilities
Study company financial statements, earnings reports, and industry trends to build proprietary investment theses.
Create detailed Excel models to forecast future earnings, project cash flows, and value target securities.
Provide private buy, sell, or hold recommendations directly to portfolio managers, rather than publishing public reports.
Track existing investments daily,



update financial models after earnings releases, and re-evaluate strategies when market conditions shift.
Focus heavily on what can go wrong with an investment, assessing downside risks and helping size portfolio positions to maximize risk-adjusted returns.
Maintain continuous coverage of industry-related news, trends, and developments, sharing relevant insights with clients and Partners.
Conduct primary research through industry sources and market interactions.

Requirements
MBA / CA / CFA qualification.
Relevant equity research experience.
