Reports To: Restaurant Manager / F&B; Manager / Supervisor
Job Summary The Guest Service Associate – F&B; is responsible for providing efficient, courteous, and qualified food and beverage service to guests while maintaining the hotel’s service and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and greet guests warmly and professionally.
Set up the restaurant, tables, buffet, and service areas as per hotel standards.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and serve them promptly.
Explain menu items and assist guests with their selections when required.
Ensure proper and timely service of food and beverages.
Transparent and reset tables efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant and service areas.
Coordinate with the Kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth service.
Handle guest requests and complaints professionally and report issues to the supervisor.
Ensure correct billing and assist with bill settlement when required.
Maintain proper stock of service items such as cutlery, crockery, glassware, and other F&B; supplies.
Follow food safety, hygiene, fire safety, and hotel SOPs.
Maintain proper grooming and qualified appearance at all times.
Assist in buffet setup, replenishment, and closing procedures.
Minimize food and service wastage.
Support colleagues and work as part of the F&B; team.
Perform any other duties assigned by the F&B; Manager or Supervisor.

Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Good grooming and personal hygiene.
Ability to work under pressure and in shifts.
Basic knowledge of billing/POS systems is an advantage.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Qualification & Experience
Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent qualification.
Freshers may be considered.
Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant will be an advantage.
