Junior Accountant – Optorium

Job Summary

Optorium is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant to support our day-to-day accounting and finance operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling transactions, reconciliations, and supporting the accounts team with regular reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily accounting entries and financial records.
Handle sales, purchase, receipts, payments, and expense entries.
Perform bank and cash reconciliation regularly.
Verify invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.
Maintain branch-wise sales and expense records.
Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting requirements.
Coordinate with branches regarding billing, collections, expenses, and accounting discrepancies.
Track outstanding payments and receivables.
Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
Identify and report accounting discrepancies to the senior accounts team.




Support audits and provide required documents when needed.
Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in B.Com, M.Com, or Accounting/Finance-related field.
1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Good knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
Basic understanding of GST and TDS.
Valuable numerical and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Retail or multi-branch accounting experience will be an added advantage.
