Procurement Engineer – Electrical

Location: Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu

Experience: 2+ Years

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

Manage procurement of electrical materials, equipment, and components.
Source and evaluate reliable vendors and suppliers.
Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate terms, and place purchase orders.
Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and quality compliance.
Maintain purchase records, vendor details, and inventory requirements.
Coordinate with project, site, and engineering teams to understand material requirements.
Ensure materials are procured within approved budgets and timelines.
Follow up on pending orders and resolve delivery or quality issues.

Required Skills:
Robust knowledge of electrical materials and components.
Positive vendor management and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of procurement processes and documentation.
Valuable communication and coordination skills.
Electrical Engineering background is mandatory/preferred.
Knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/procurement software is an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
