Job Summary We are looking for a Purchase Executive to handle procurement activities for machine spares, consumables, electrical items, engineering components and maintenance-related materials in a rigid plastic blow moulding manufacturing workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Procure machine spares, electrical items, pneumatic/hydraulic components and maintenance consumables.
Coordinate with Production, Maintenance and Stores teams for material requirements.
Identify and develop new vendors and alternate sources.
Obtain and compare quotations and negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
Evaluate vendors based on quality, cost, delivery and service.
Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely execution.
Follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery and resolve supply-related issues.
Coordinate with Stores,
Quality, Accounts and Logistics for smooth material receipt and payment processing.
Maintain vendor records, purchase reports, pending PO status and procurement MIS.
Monitor critical spare inventory and reorder levels.
Support cost-saving initiatives and procurement efficiency.
Required Skills
2–4 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in Plastic Manufacturing / Blow Moulding.
Knowledge of machine spares, engineering items and maintenance consumables.
Solid vendor management, negotiation and follow-up skills.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing workplace.
