About the role

South Guild Tech is hiring a Python engineer to work on a production pipeline built around large language models. You will work with a US-based Lead AI Engineer, ship improvements daily, and keep the pipeline healthy.

What you will do
Enhance and maintain an existing Python pipeline and ship improvements daily
Reproduce reported issues, read logs, find root causes, and ship fixes
Plan your own work end to end and coordinate one or two other developers
Sync daily with the Lead AI Engineer and explain your findings clearly in English

What we need
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
3 to 5 years of hands-on software engineering
Robust Python skills. You can read, debug, and extend a codebase you did not write
You can set up a local development and test environment from documentation
You know Git, APIs, databases, and automated testing
You use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor in your daily work
You can work 3pm to midnight IST, Monday to Friday
You write and speak transparent English

Nice to have: LLM or RAG experience
