Design and formulate polyurethane systems, epoxies, and silicones tailored for various industrial applications including adhesive, sealants, potting and encapsulation.
Understand and resolve complex formulation challenges, including wetting agent selection and filler settling dynamics.
Optimize curing profiles for manufacturing efficiency, such as minimizing polyurethane gel-to-tack-free times and fine-tuning anhydride-amine curing reactions for epoxy systems.
Collaborate with Production Chemists and Process Engineers to scale formulations from benchtop to bulk manufacturing, troubleshooting any viscosity, dispersion, or curing issues that arise during scale-up.
Prepare reports and track progress on the formulation projects. Keep data organized and accessible for data analysis and discussion
