Job Title: Steward / Waiter

Department: Food & Beverage Service

Location: Mumbai/ Pune

Reports To: Captain / Restaurant Manager

Job Summary The Steward is responsible for providing excellent guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for guests while adhering to company service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service
Welcome and assist guests in a courteous and skilled manner.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen/bar.
Serve food and beverages as per established service standards.
Attend to guest requests promptly and efficiently.
Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.

Operations
Prepare and set up tables before service.
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and equipment.
Assist in opening and closing duties of the outlet.
Ensure proper handling of crockery, cutlery, glassware, and service equipment.
Coordinate with kitchen and service team for smooth operations.

Sales & Upselling




Promote menu items, specials, and beverages.
Upsell products to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.

Compliance
Follow hygiene, grooming, and food safety standards.
Adhere to company policies and operational procedures.
Ensure workplace cleanliness and safety at all times.

Candidate Profile

Education
Minimum Higher Secondary (12th Pass).
Hotel Management qualification preferred.

Experience
03 years of experience in restaurants, hotels, cafs, or hospitality establishments.
Freshers with positive communication skills may also apply.

Skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude and customer-service orientation.
Ability to work in a team setting.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
