: Piping Design Engineer

• Prepare and Develops 2D and 3D Designs.
Prepare of Piping GA, Equipment GA Structural GA & Plot Plan.
Development & Review of Isometrics as per GA and P&ID.;
Prepare 3D Modelling like Equipment Modelling, Piping Modelling, Structures Modelling, Pipe Supports & Instruments.

• Develop 3D skid models based on basic engineering documents using SolidWorks, Plant 3D.
Perform peer reviews and ensure compliance with quality procedures, processes, and standards for skid deliverables.
Review PFDs/P&IDs; and develop equipment layouts and skid piping routing designs.
Extract and annotate 2D drawings, including GADs, plumb drawings, and spool drawings, based on project and client requirements.
Prepare accurate Bills of Quantity (BOQ) and determine support spacing for metallic and non-metallic piping systems.
Prepare clash reports, resolve identified clashes prior to model reviews, and generate compliance reports.




Participate in 3D model reviews from concept through completion to ensure adequate flexibility and constructability in pipe routing.
Review isometrics, 3D models, spool drawings, and weldment drawings to select appropriate pipe support types in alignment with piping analysis requirements.
Develop standard P&ID; templates, including legends, blocks, attributes, spreadsheet linking, and AutoCAD attribute extraction.
Ensure piping and skid designs comply with applicable project specifications, internal standards, client requirements, and engineering codes.
Participate in in office meetings as an engineering/analysis team representative and handle customer-facing technical discussions when required.
Prepare equipment and foundation layouts using AutoCAD.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Maximum 4+ years’ Experience of mechanical design in Water, Power, O&G; or related Industry.
Software knowledge - AutoCAD, SolidWorks or AutoCAD Plant 3D or Revit or Autodesk Inventor.
Knowledge on ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code / B 31.1 Power Piping Code
