Primary Requirements &
Sourcing Criteria:
Role Title: Senior ArchiCAD BIM Modeler / Scan-to-BIM Specialist
Experience Level: 5+ years total experience in BIM modelling, with at least 3+ years specifically in Point Cloud / Scan-to-BIM in ArchiCAD.
Key Software: Graphisoft ArchiCAD (v25v28), point cloud viewers/processors (e.g., Cloud Compare, Autodesk Revit and Autodesk ReCap).
Core Technical Skill: Ability to import, manage, and convert point cloud scan data (E57, XYZ formats) into detailed, structured ArchiCAD 3D models (LOD 200–400).
Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, robust communication, and the ability to mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
Scan-to-BIM Modelling: Import, align, and process point cloud data (E57/XYZ/PTS) to develop parametric 3D architectural and structural models in Graphisoft ArchiCAD.
Quality Assurance &
Control:





Perform rigorous self-QC and peer reviews to verify dimensional accuracy against point cloud scan data, client standards, and specified LOD requirements.
Model Optimization: Manage large point cloud files efficiently in ArchiCAD to maintain smooth software performance without compromising visual fidelity.
Template &
Library Management:

Standardize project templates, GDL object usage, and attribute settings for seamless Point Cloud-to-ArchiCAD execution.
Team Guidance &
Mentorship:

Lead modelers, resolve technical bottlenecks in ArchiCAD, and coordinate with project leads regarding scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Client Coordination Support: Assist project managers in reviewing client specifications, addressing technical queries, and ensuring final output formats meet external requirements.
