Role: Senior Copywriter

Experience: 3 to 4 years

Location: Mumbai

Responsibilities:
To identify and assign stories to the writers based on trends and news developments




To prepare and manage an editorial calendar to ensure timely publication and take initiative to strategize for /big news events
To fix all hygiene items vis-a-vis SEO, headlining and quality of copy in terms of facts, language and grammar
To be responsible for tracking website traffic & user engagement and achieving targets
Have the ability to give direction on re-purposing of content
To closely track competition and have an aggressive instinct to put out the most holistic content in terms of angularity and copy
Have the ability to strategize and constantly improve the quality of content
To ensure that the guidelines for the tone, style and voice of all the content is in unison and consistent with the editorial identity of the brand
To measure and analyze what is working and what is not on a real-time basis and find solutions to glitches based to derive an effective content matrix which may be reviewed from time to time
