Job Title: Scala & Spark Data Engineer - Location - Mumbai - (Hybrid 3days a week)

Required Skills & Experience
Strong commercial experience in Core Java development, with excellent proficiency in Java programming and object-oriented design.
Experience working with functional programming concepts and languages.
Hands-on experience with Scala programming, or a solid willingness and ability to develop expertise in Scala.
Fundamental understanding of Microservices architecture and distributed application design.
Strong experience working with distributed caching technologies and relational databases, preferably Sybase, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server.
Positive understanding of middleware and messaging technologies, including IBM MQ and Apache Kafka.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work on scalable and high-performance data solutions.

Desired Skills & Experience
Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies, particularly Hadoop and Apache Spark.
Experience developing cloud-ready applications and working with Docker/containerized environments.
Understanding of Reactive Programming and asynchronous, event-driven application development.




Experience with Data Modeling, database design, and data processing solutions.
Good understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements and development through testing, deployment, and support.
Experience working in Agile teams and familiarity with DevOps practices, tools, and methodologies.
Experience with automation and scripting, with Python as a preferred language.
Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration (CI) systems and automated build/deployment processes.
