Social Media Manager — Bengali Entertainment

Location: Kolkata | Experience: 2–5 Years | Full time

We’re looking for a creative Social Media Manager who understands Bengali entertainment, television, pop culture and digital audiences.

Responsibilities
Manage social media for Bengali TV channels, shows and entertainment brands.
Develop creative campaigns and social-first content strategies.
Create ideas for Reels, memes, contests, interactive content and promotional campaigns.
Build campaigns around shows, characters, launches, episodes, festivals and trending topics.
Write/guide Bengali, Banglish and English copy.
Work with designers, editors and production teams to execute campaigns.
Track trends, competitors and social-media performance.

Requirements




2–5 years of experience in social media / digital / entertainment marketing.
Strong understanding of Bengali audience behaviour and entertainment culture.
Excellent creative ideation and campaign-thinking skills.
Strong Bengali copywriting and communication.
Positive understanding of Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
Experience with TV channels, OTT, entertainment brands or production houses is a robust advantage.

We’re not looking for someone who just manages posts. We’re looking for someone who can turn a TV show into a social-media conversation.
