Staff Accountant (In office, Location - Mohali)

We're hiring a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support month-end close, reconciliations, fixed assets, and financial reporting for our U.S.-based Finance team.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Manage fixed assets in Oracle (additions, transfers, disposals, WIP, depreciation)
Review P&L; accounts and flag unusual variances
Assist with financial statements, AP invoice coding, and vendor setup
Support audit requests, ad hoc analysis, and process improvements

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1+ year of general accounting experience, including month-end close
Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP- Oracle (Fixed Assets)



strongly preferred; NetSuite a plus
Robust Excel skills and good English communication
Able to meet tight deadlines and coordinate during U.S. business hours when needed

Work Cycle
Days 1–7: Month-end close, JEs, fixed assets, P&L; review
Days 8–15: Balance sheet reconciliations
Rest of month: Projects, analysis, and process improvement

Salary: Up to ₹50,000 per month, based on last drawn salary and interview performance. Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
