Role:

Ability to reach out to children and create a relationship of mutual trust.
n
Facilitates the holistic development of the children– physical, mental, and intellectual.
n
Attends to all matters of health, sickness, diet, sanitation and cleanliness.
n
Assists in homework, plans and organizes an education curriculum that makes learning fun, easy and meaningful.
n
Ensures discipline in and around the Hostel as well as an atmosphere of peace and harmony of all the residents.
n
Addresses medical/social and personal emergencies of all children. Accompanies children to the hospital in case of illness or injury.
n
Ensures that children in need of psychologically support are identified and visit a counselling session.
n
Assist in necessary documentation and office work.
n
Ability to conduct Child Committee Meetings, use of technology to impart fundamental concepts.
n

Requirements:

n

n
B2 English
n
Positive MS Office knowledge (especially Excel, Power Point)
n
Ability to work independently
n
0–2 years of experience in an administrative and/or assistant role
n
B.Ed (preferable), MSW/BSW and other graduates
n
