Job Purpose To provide expert diagnosis, medical management, and surgical treatment for patients with retinal and vitreous disorders, ensuring high-quality patient care and surgical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage vitreoretinal diseases and conditions.
Perform vitreoretinal surgeries and related procedures.
Conduct detailed retinal examinations and investigations.
Manage emergency retinal cases effectively.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
Explain diagnosis, treatment options, and procedures to patients and relatives.
Maintain accurate patient records and surgical documentation.
Work closely with ophthalmologists, OT staff, and other healthcare teams.
Follow hospital protocols, clinical standards, and patient safety practices.
Participate in clinical discussions, training, and academic activities.
