Position: Automobile Technician
Reports To: Service Manager / Workshop Supervisor

Job Summary

The Automobile Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Perform vehicle inspections and identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
Carry out repairs and maintenance as per company and manufacturer standards.
Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Conduct routine services, including oil changes, brake inspections, and component replacements.
Test vehicles after repairs to ensure proper functioning.
Maintain service records and job cards accurately.
Follow workplace safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
Assist in achieving workshop productivity and quality targets.





Requirements
ITI/Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in automobile servicing (preferred).
Knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
Ability to use automotive tools and diagnostic equipment.
Valuable troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Basic communication and teamwork abilities.
