Position Summary
nThe Data Analysts plays a pivotal role in applying advanced analytical, statistical, and optimization techniques for decision-making across the Staples Supply Chain. This role is central to driving the next generation of supply chain analytics supporting the integration of traditional data science with emerging AI-driven automation and decision intelligence capabilities. The individual will help accelerate Staples’ evolution toward a highly intelligent, scalable, and agent-enabled analytics ecosystem, unlocking greater efficiency, agility, and business value.
nKey Responsibilities
n* Participate and contribute to core supply chain functions such as Inventory planning, Network and Capacity planning, Transportation optimization, Labor Planning, as well as Warehouse operations
n* Build predictive and prescriptive models using structured and unstructured data to drive visibility and improvement in operational performance
n* Collaborate closely with planning and operations focused stakeholders to drive actionable insights




n* Create and monitor supply chain metrics to drive optimization of the Staples Supply Chain and improvement in performance
n* Develop dashboards and automated reports using BI tools
n* Design and develop AI-powered agents and LLM-based workflows
n

nQualifications
n* Bachelors’ degree in a quantitative field such as Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or any other highly quantitative discipline.
n* Around 3+ years’ experience in the Supply Chain Logistics domain is highly desirable
n* Master’s degree is preferred
n

nTechnical Skills
n* Fluent in programming languages: Python and SQL (highly desirable)
n* Data visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau or equivalent
n* Cloud and data platforms: Snowflake, SQL server or similar
n* Familiarity with other statistical and scripting languages
n* Familiarity with cloud ecosystems (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable)
