Position: Finance and Accounts - Head (For Manufacturing Company)

nPrior experience in manufacturing industry is mandatory.
n

nKey Responsibilities:
n• Accounting ownership: Personally ensure robust ledgers, reconciliations, provisions, accruals, inventory, fixed assets and financial statements.
n• Disciplined closing: Establish a predictable monthly / annual closing calendar and materially improve both speed and accuracy.
n• SAP Finance utilisation: Make SAP FI/CO and its links with MM / PP central to accounting, costing, controls and reporting; reduce manual workarounds.
n• Manufacturing finance: Strengthen product costing, standard vs actual cost, conversion cost, material / energy / labour analysis and variance reporting.
n• Inventory discipline: Improve valuation, reconciliation, WIP, slow / obsolete stock visibility and physical stock controls.
n• Internal controls: Strengthen controls across purchase, payments, expenses, inventory, assets, revenue, credit and banking without unnecessary bureaucracy.




n• Tax and audit: Ensure timely GST, TDS, income-tax and statutory compliance; manage audits and close observations systematically.
n• MIS and decision support: Provide accurate, concise reporting on margins, EBITDA, variances, cash flow, working capital and profitability.
n• Working capital and banking: Manage receivables, payables, liquidity and routine banking requirements effectively.
n• Team building: Build a disciplined Finance & Accounts team with SOPs, backups and less dependence on individual knowledge.

nRequired Skills and Qualifications:
n• Qualified CA: Strong technical grounding in accounting and financial reporting.
n• Accounts-first depth: Must have strong experience in closing, reconciliation, inventory accounting, costing and ledger issues.
n• Hands-on SAP experience: Practical experience using SAP to close accounts and enforce process discipline.
