Job Summary

We are looking for an Electronics Production Engineer / Technician to support the manufacturing, assembly, testing, quality inspection, and troubleshooting of electronic and IoT products.

The candidate should have hands-on knowledge of electronic components, PCB assembly, soldering, testing instruments, production processes, and basic fault finding.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform and supervise PCB assembly, soldering, wiring, and product assembly.
- Perform SMD and through-hole component soldering/rework when required.
- Inspect assembled PCBs for soldering defects, component polarity, wrong/missing components, and physical damage.
- Carry out PCB and complete product functional testing as per defined test procedures.
- Use instruments such as Digital Multimeter, DC Power Supply, Soldering Station, and other basic electronic test equipment.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of faulty PCBs and finished products.
- Identify production defects and coordinate for corrective actions.
- Maintain production quality as per approved BOM, SOP, drawings, and work instructions.
- Handle electronic components carefully and follow ESD precautions.
- Support product assembly including PCB fitting, connectors, wiring, sensors, power supplies, enclosures, etc.
- Maintain daily production, testing, rejection, rework,



and repair records.
- Maintain proper serial number / device traceability.
- Support calibration and validation activities wherever required.
- Coordinate with PCB assembly vendors and other production vendors when required.
- Monitor material availability and report shortages to the concerned team.
- Assist in incoming inspection of electronic components and assembled PCBs.
- Ensure production targets are completed on time without compromising product quality.
- Support packing and final inspection before dispatch.
- Follow workplace safety, cleanliness, and 5S practices.

Required Technical Skills

- Good understanding of basic electronics and electronic components.
- Ability to identify resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, ICs, relays, connectors, sensors, power supply components, etc.
- Knowledge of PCB assembly and manufacturing processes.
- Good soldering and rework skills.
- Ability to read basic schematics, PCB drawings, BOMs, and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of using a multimeter and basic electronic testing equipment.
- Basic knowledge of AC/DC power supplies and voltage/current measurements.
- Basic troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.




- Understanding of ESD handling and electronic production quality requirements.
- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel and production documentation.

Preferred Skills

Experience with any of the following will be an advantage:

- IoT product manufacturing and testing
- ESP32 / microcontroller-based products
- Sensors and communication modules
- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GSM/4G or LoRa-based devices
- Gas sensors / environmental monitoring products
- Product calibration and validation
- Vendor coordination and production follow-up
- Production planning and inventory coordination

Candidate Profile

The candidate should be:

- Hands-on and comfortable working on the production floor.
- Quality-conscious with valuable attention to detail.
- Capable of identifying and solving basic production issues independently.
- Willing to learn new electronic products and testing procedures.
- Able to coordinate effectively with production, hardware, quality, purchase, and vendor teams.
- Responsible for completing assigned production work within timelines.

Experience

1–3 years of experience in electronics production, PCB assembly, electronic product testing, repair, or manufacturing is preferred.

Fresh Diploma/ITI candidates with strong hands-on electronics, soldering, and testing skills may also be considered.
