- About the role: This position is part of the Consolidation team, which specialises in the consolidated financial reporting of Special Purpose Entities (SPEs), Open-Ended Investment Companies and Unit Trusts (OEICs & UTs) and the Property Fund Finance (PFF)/ Real Estate sectors.
- The team plays a crucial role in transforming raw local fund accounts into consolidated records.
- This involves tasks such as making GAAP adjustments, executing consolidation eliminations, sub consolidation and adjustments, recognising goodwill and held for sale, conducting impairment analysis, reporting on various privately held and diverse/niche asset classes, appropriate reporting for the acquisition and disposal of subsidiaries etc.
- The team ensures compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) with the purpose of ultimate reporting and inclusion in M&G; plcs consolidated financial statements.
