Role: Linux Administrator

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Linux Administrator with hands-on experience in administering and supporting Linux/Unix environments. The candidate will be responsible for system administration, server maintenance, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, patching, and production support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, administer, and maintain Linux servers.
- Provide L2/L3 administration and production support for Linux environments.
- Manage CentOS, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), SUSE Linux, and Ubuntu servers.
- Perform OS patching, upgrades, package management, and security hardening.
- Monitor server health, CPU, memory, disk, processes, and system performance.
- Troubleshoot OS, application, network, filesystem, and server-related issues.
- Manage users, groups, permissions, sudo access, SSH, and security configurations.
- Manage filesystems, LVM, disk space, mounts, and storage-related activities.
- Configure and troubleshoot system services, daemons, cron jobs, and scheduled tasks.
- Perform server provisioning, configuration,



backup/recovery, and migration activities.
- Analyze system logs and troubleshoot incidents using appropriate Linux utilities.
- Support vulnerability remediation and security compliance activities.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using Shell/Bash scripting.
- Work with application, database, network, cloud, and security teams for issue resolution.
- Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
