Role Overview

We are looking for a strong Full Stack Software Engineer AI & Automation who can understand business problems, design practical software solutions, and take ownership from development through deployment.

We are versatile on programming languages and technology stacks. What matters more is strong engineering fundamentals, problem-solving ability, debugging skills, and the ability to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly.

The role involves building internal business applications, automating manual workflows, integrating third-party systems, and adding AI capabilities where they create real operational value.

What You Will Do

- Build and maintain full-stack internal web applications: CRM, dashboards, MIS, workflow and operations tools.
- Sit with the operations team, understand how a process actually runs, and convert it into a working software workflow. This is half the job.
- Design application architecture, database schemas, APIs and integrations.
- Automate manual, repetitive processes currently run on spreadsheets and messaging groups.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external platforms.
- Implement authentication, role-based access and data controls.
- Deploy, monitor and maintain applications in production.
- Improve and extend existing systems as business requirements evolve.
- Take end-to-end ownership of assigned projects, from requirement to live usage.

AI and Automation

- Integrate LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini or equivalent) into real business workflows.
- Build practical AI features: document processing and data extraction, summarisation, search, assistants, workflow automation.




- Use RAG, agents, embeddings, vector databases or OCR where the problem genuinely calls for them, not by default.
- Connect AI capabilities to existing applications, databases and business workflows.
- Evaluate AI output for accuracy, reliability, cost and data security before it touches a live process.
- Use AI development tools to work faster, while remaining fully responsible for the code that ships.

Must Have

- 37 years of professional software development experience.
- At least one production application you owned end to end, from design to deployment to live users. Be ready to walk us through it.
- Strong programming and engineering fundamentals. We are stack-agnostic; we care about how you think, not what you have used.
- Practical full-stack experience: one modern frontend framework (React, Angular, Vue or equivalent) plus production backend and API development.
- Solid SQL and database design: relationships, queries, schema decisions.
- Working knowledge of REST APIs, authentication and role-based access control.
- Git and version control.
- Ability to debug complex issues across application, database, API and integration layers without hand-holding.
- Basic competence with deployment,



servers and cloud environments.

Good to Have

- LLM API integrations in a production system
- Python
- Google Apps Script and the Google Sheets/Workspace APIs
- Webhooks and third-party integrations
- Cloud deployment (AWS, Azure or GCP) and Docker

Deep machine learning or model-training expertise is not required.

Experience

Relevant professional experience is preferred, but demonstrated engineering ability matters more than number of years or knowledge of a particular stack. Strong candidates with professional projects, startup experience, freelance work, open-source contributions or independently built applications will also be considered.

Data Security and Confidentiality

This is a regulated lending environment. You will have access to customer KYC, salary and repayment data, and employee records. Secure handling of that data is a hard requirement of the role, not a preference: no credentials in repositories, no production data on personal machines, no shortcuts on access control.
