BESS Integration Lead | Pune | 8-10 Years

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced BESS Integration Lead to lead the design, integration, validation, and deployment of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in battery pack integration, thermal management, mechanical design, and compliance with global industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end BESS integration activities for utility-scale and industrial applications.
- Develop and review battery pack, enclosure, structural, and cooling system designs.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for system architecture, testing, and validation.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, UL, IEEE, and other applicable standards.
- Drive design optimization for performance, safety, reliability, and cost.
- Support supplier development, technical reviews, and project execution.




- Review CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
- Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.

Required Skills

- 8-10 years of experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Battery Pack Design & Integration.
- Hands-on expertise in CATIA and/or SolidWorks.
- Robust knowledge of thermal management and cooling systems.
- Understanding of Battery Management Systems (BMS).
- Experience with structural design, FEA, and system validation.
- Knowledge of battery safety, fire protection, and regulatory standards.
- Ability to lead technical teams and manage stakeholders.
