Typical Tasks performed by this role

- Ensuring 100% compliance of SOP/SMP/JSA/TBT/TRY OUT for all tasks
- Report all abnormalities observed during PMI / walk through / overhaul etc
- Perform takeover and handover of shift to next shift with releiver
- Perform work controls (tools&tackles;), oversee safety and 5S activitieas
- Conduct execution of repairs, sustain and restore normal conditions,implement work schedules
- Reporting of kaizen / Unsafe Act / Unsafe condition / Near Miss
- Ensure communication flow to vertical, horizontal and line below

Competencies required for effective performance in this role

Technical

- Display expertise in trouble shooting, execute suitable measures for correction
- Having good knowledge of Pneumatic systems ,DCS /PLC control /Interlocks & Troubleshooting
- Ability to use right tools for right job.




- Knowledge of Instrument Systems like Motorised Control Valves,Pnumatic Control Valves ,Flow Meters,Weigh Feeder & LIW,PH Analyser ,Gas Analyser,Moisture Analyser,Level Transmitter,Pressure Transmitter,Temp Measurement Devices ,Burners firing & Control Systems,,MCB ,Variable Frequency Drives,Uninterrupted Power Supply ( UPS ) ,Understanding electrical/Instrument control drawings , Safety Devices & control Interlocks / Conveying system/ Compressor /Conlrol & Power Cables ,Cable Terminations & Jointing Techniques.

- Understanding the plant requirements and acting upon

- Maintaining the hygenic conditions in the plant.
- proper handing over of permits / checklist & other inspection list.

Qualification & experience

Qualification - Diploma in Instrument Engg (Regular Diploma, Distance/Part time not pereferred)

Years of Experience - 5 Years post Diploma

Experience Industry - Fertilizer/Chemical/Metal
