- Monitor approved SOB vs. actual SOB on a daily basis through MIS.
- Ensure material is pulled as per production plan and storage capacity by monitoring supplier readiness.
- Drive cost reduction through VAVE (Value Analysis & Value Engineering) activities.
2. Supplier Daily Plan vs. Actual Supply Adherence (>95%)
- Share the next three days' plan with suppliers.
- Monitor MTD (Month-to-Date) requirements against MTD inward quantities to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Track daily plan vs. actual supply performance of each supplier.
3. Zero Line Stoppage Due to Supplier Material
- Monitor supplier stock levels, including raw material, through MIS.
- Track supplier plan vs. actual supply on a daily basis.
- Monitor vehicle-wise dispatch plans.
- Maintain safety stock levels as defined.
- Monitor child parts consumption patterns and schedule adherence.
- Track customer float requirements for improved planning.
4. Supplier Window Timing Implementation
- Define window timings for critical suppliers (minimum three suppliers).
- Monitor standard window time vs. actual performance and implement corrective actions.
5. Inventory DOH (Days on Hand)
- Monitor Min-Max inventory levels vs. actual inventory daily through MIS.
- Implement PFEP (Plan for Every Part) for all trim and foam parts.
- Monitor daily supply patterns.
- Ensure alignment between system inventory and physical inventory.
6. Inventory Accuracy
- Monitor daily consumption trends.
- Review short receipt incidents with suppliers and obtain MOM (Minutes of Meeting) sign-offs.
- Verify BOM (Bill of Material) accuracy along with the BOM Controller.
7. Packaging Standardization & Sustenance
- Finalize and implement packaging standards for all BOM parts.
- Optimize supplier packaging in terms of cost and quality.
- Monitor maintenance of supplier trolleys, bins, and boxes as per defined frequency.
- Finalize packaging for current program parts in coordination with the CFT (Cross Functional Team).
8. Zero Obsolescence
- Monitor cut-off quantities for phase-out parts.
- Understand new program part complexities and manage add/delete lists.
- Monitor stock levels daily through MIS to avoid obsolescence.
9. 6S Implementation - Zone Leader
- Conduct weekly 6S audits with designated auditors in the assigned zone.
- Monitor and close audit observations within the target timeline.
- Identify and implement improved storage methods and visual management practices.
10. Kaizen & QCC
- Identify improvement opportunities and suggestions.
- Convert all approved suggestions into Kaizen projects.
- Participate in and drive QCC (Quality Control Circle) initiatives for continuous improvement.
