Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons according to the prescribed curriculum.
- Teach English language, grammar, literature, phonics and creative writing.
- Develop students' Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing (LSRW) skills.
- Conduct vocabulary-building, reading and phonics activities.
- Use storytelling, role-play, rhymes, educational games and interactive activities.
- Prepare worksheets, tests, homework and other assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe, positive and disciplined classroom setting.
- Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings and communicate student progress.
- Participate in assemblies, literary competitions, cultural events and annual celebrations.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in English or relevant discipline.
- B.Ed. is strictly mandatory.
- Minimum 1 year of experience teaching English at the primary level.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication.
- Clear pronunciation and correct grammar.
- Patience, empathy and ability to engage primary-age students.
- Familiarity with activity-based teaching methods.
