Job Description Summary
The Telecom Network Operations Engineer is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting telecom network elements, with a focus on transmission topology including microwave, fiber, and IPRAN technologies. The role involves working with multivendor equipment, troubleshooting network issues, and coordinating with field teams to ensure network reliability and performance. The candidate will contribute significantly to operational excellence and timely resolution of network incidents.

Must-Have Skills
- In-depth knowledge of telecom network architecture and elements
- Primary understanding of transmission topology, including microwave, fiber, and IPRAN technology
- Hands-on experience with multivendor microwave equipment, with specific expertise in Nokia UBT and MSS models
- Strong understanding of network alarms and their interpretation
- Experience in field team interactions for network monitoring and basic troubleshooting
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, including ticket creation and escalation processes
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English

Positive-to-Have Skills
- Basic knowledge of network security and data protection in telecom environments
- Experience with network performance monitoring tools
- Exposure to project coordination or vendor management
- Knowledge of telecom regulatory compliance standards

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain telecom network elements,



ensuring optimal performance and uptime
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to transmission topology, microwave links, fiber, and IPRAN networks
- Operate and support multivendor microwave equipment, especially Nokia UBT and MSS models
- Analyze network alarms, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Liaise with field teams for on-ground support and issue resolution
- Manage the ticketing process, including ticket creation, updates, and escalations as necessary
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to network incidents, changes, and resolutions
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to ensure service continuity

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Telecommunication, or equivalent
- Additional certifications in telecom networking or related technologies preferred

Location & Work Mode
- Onsite or hybrid (as per organization s policy), location to be specified by the employer
