About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Manager – Civil Projects with strong exposure to CBG / Biogas Plant construction and project execution.
The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing civil construction activities for CBG/Biogas and upcoming renewable energy projects, ensuring timely completion, quality, safety, and adherence to approved project specifications and budgets.
The role is currently based at Nagpur. As the organization has multiple upcoming projects across locations, the candidate should be open and willing to relocate/travel to project locations across India as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil construction activities for CBG / Biogas / Waste-to-Energy projects.
- Plan and monitor civil works as per project schedules, drawings, specifications, and approved BOQs.
- Coordinate execution of foundations, RCC structures, equipment foundations, buildings, roads, drainage, flooring, tanks, pits, and other plant-related civil works.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Mechanical, Electrical, Procurement, Operations, and external consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review civil drawings, structural drawings, BOQs, specifications, and site requirements.
- Monitor contractors, subcontractors, and site teams for productivity, quality, and adherence to project timelines.
- Prepare and monitor project execution plans, schedules, resource requirements, and work fronts.
- Track project progress against planned milestones and highlight delays, constraints, and corrective actions.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, machinery, and other site resources.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with approved drawings and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with consultants and contractors for technical clarifications and resolution of site issues.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to applicable construction standards and project specifications.
- Monitor quantities, measurements, RA bills, material consumption, and contractor work completion.
- Support project cost control and identify opportunities to minimize construction-related costs.
- Ensure proper documentation of site activities, measurements, progress reports, and project records.
- Coordinate civil activities with equipment installation and other project execution activities to avoid interface delays.
- Ensure adherence to site safety requirements and Company EHS procedures.
- Identify construction risks and implement appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
- Support commissioning and project handover activities from the civil execution perspective.
- Travel/relocate to upcoming project locations as required by the business.
Required Technical Exposure
Candidates should preferably have hands-on experience in civil execution for:
- Waste-to-Energy projects
- Industrial plants and infrastructure
- Equipment foundations
- RCC structures and foundations
- Digesters / tanks / pits
- Utility buildings and plant structures
- Internal roads and drainage systems
- Plant flooring and hardscape works
- Structural and civil interface works
Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering with solid relevant project experience may also be considered.
Experience
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in civil project execution.
- Candidates with direct experience in CBG, Biogas, Waste-to-Energy, Biomethanation, or similar industrial projects will be preferred.
- Strong experience in handling contractors and managing site execution teams is essential.

Mobility Requirement
Nagpur will be the initial job location. However, the Company has multiple upcoming projects across India. The candidate must therefore be willing to travel and relocate to other project locations based on business/project requirements.
