About the Role

We are looking for a Finance Content Writer to join our Marketing Team and take ownership of creating, reviewing, and refining high-quality finance-related content across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other digital and social media platforms.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of financial concepts and extensive experience in writing and editing finance content. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all published content is grammatically correct, well-structured, factually accurate, and aligned with the brand's communication standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Create engaging and informative finance and investment-related content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
- Write and refine social media posts, captions, carousels, articles, blogs, scripts, and other finance-related content.
- Review and edit content for spelling, grammar, sentence structure, clarity, tone, and readability.
- Fact-check financial information, statistics, data, market-related information, and financial terminology before publication.
- Identify and correct factual, conceptual, numerical, and contextual errors in finance content.
- Ensure that content is simple, accurate, engaging, and easy for the target audience to understand.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Design teams to develop content and provide appropriate inputs for creative execution.
- Assist in developing thought-leadership and educational finance content for digital platforms.
- Research current financial topics, market trends, investment concepts, and industry developments to generate relevant content ideas.
- Adapt content according to the requirements of different platforms while maintaining consistency in messaging and brand tone.
- Review existing content and suggest improvements wherever required.
- Ensure all content is aligned with applicable financial communication and compliance requirements,

- Maintain a high standard of accuracy and quality across all finance-related communication.

Requirements

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Mass Communication, Journalism, or a related field.
- 25 years of relevant experience in finance content writing, financial journalism, investment content, financial communications, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investments, mutual funds, PMS, equities, personal finance, and other financial concepts.
- Excellent written English with strong grammar, vocabulary, proofreading, and editing skills.
- Proven ability to simplify complex financial concepts into clear and engaging content.
- Robust attention to detail with a high level of factual and numerical accuracy.
- Experience writing content specifically for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
- Strong research and fact-checking skills.
- Ability to identify errors and inconsistencies in finance-related content.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with the Marketing and Design teams.
- Ability to manage multiple content requirements and meet deadlines.

Preferred

- Experience working with a financial services, wealth management, investment, fintech, or financial media organisation.
- Understanding of SEBI-related financial communication guidelines will be an advantage.
- Experience in writing content for senior management, founders, or personal brands.
- Familiarity with content performance, social media trends, and digital marketing.
- Experience with AI tools for content research, ideation, editing, or content optimisation.
