- Nursing Administration: Plan, organize and supervise all nursing services.
- Patient Care: Ensure safe, quality and compassionate nursing care.
- Staff Management: Nursing manpower planning, duty rosters, deployment and performance monitoring.
- NABH Compliance: Ensure implementation of NABH standards, SOPs, audits, documentation and patient-safety practices.
- Training & Development: Organize induction, regular in-service training, skill development and competency assessment of nursing staff.
- Quality & Safety: Monitor infection control, medication safety, documentation and nursing quality indicators.
- Coordination: Coordinate with Medical, Administration, HR and other departments for smooth hospital functioning.
- Monitoring: Conduct nursing rounds, audits and corrective actions for continuous improvement.
Preferred candidate profile
- M.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc.
Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid Nursing Council Registration.
- 15+ years of experience in hospital nursing services, preferably in a 500700+ bedded hospital.
- Robust experience in Nursing Administration and Leadership.
- Proven exposure to NABH accreditation, audits and quality management.
- Experience in staff training, competency assessment and CNE programmes.
- Good knowledge of infection control, patient safety and nursing quality indicators.
- Experience in managing ICU, ICCU, Emergency and other critical-care services.
- Strong communication, team management, problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Experience in Medical College/Hospital or teaching hospital will be preferred.
