Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright to validate software functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution.
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected by recent changes.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects of the code.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing and automation.
- Provide training and support to junior team members on automation testing practices and tools.

Mandatory Skills:




- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Playwright for automated testing.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript for writing test scripts.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Ability to analyze requirements and create detailed test cases.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured.
