We are seeking a highly motivated and research-oriented Postdoctoral Fellow to join an interdisciplinary research program focused on snake venom biology, venomics, antivenom development, and snakebite diagnostics.
The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research integrating proteomics, transcriptomics, immunology, bioinformatics, and translational approaches to address critical challenges in snakebite envenomation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct independent and cooperative research on snake venom composition, toxicity, and pathophysiological mechanisms.
- Perform venom proteomics, venom gland transcriptomics, and multi-omics data integration.
- Identify and characterize toxin-specific biomarkers and antigenic epitopes for diagnostic and therapeutic applications.
- Design and execute experiments involving cell culture, molecular biology, immunological assays, and protein characterization.
- Utilize bioinformatics and computational tools for protein identification, epitope prediction, and data analysis.
- Contribute to the development of next-generation species-specific snakebite diagnostic platforms and improved antivenom strategies.
