Associate Manager Position(Male Candidate Preferred)
Overnight Shift Supporting U.S.-Based Assurance Team

Position Summary
We are seeking a Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our wholly-owned subsidiary office in India as an Associate Manager, Assurance Accountant. This role is designed for an assurance-focused professional who will work closely and virtually with our U.S.-based assurance team during an overnight India shift. The ideal candidate will bring strong audit and assurance experience, sound technical judgment, excellent communication skills (English required), and demonstrated experience supervising or managing a small team.

Key Responsibilities

- Support U.S.-based assurance engagements, including audit planning, execution, documentation, and completion activities.
- Review audit workpapers, financial statement support, schedules, and related documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with qualified standards.
- Assist with risk assessment procedures, internal control documentation, substantive testing, analytical procedures, and audit issue resolution.
- Coordinate daily with U.S. assurance professionals to ensure timely progress, clear communication, and alignment on engagement expectations.
- Manage and review the work of a small India-based team of bookkeepers and administrators.

Required Qualifications

- Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5-6 years of experience in Audit field.
- ACCA with 3-4 years of experience in Audit field.
- Professional experience focused in assurance, audit,



or related attestation services; candidates primarily focused in tax, bookkeeping, or general accounting will not be the best fit for this role, though general accounting and tax knowledge is also required.
- Experience reviewing audit workpapers and supporting engagement teams through planning, fieldwork, and completion phases.
- Prior experience supervising, reviewing, training, or managing a small team of professionals.
- Strong understanding of audit methodology, internal controls, financial statement assertions, and professional documentation standards.
- Ability to work an overnight India schedule in order to collaborate in real time with U.S.-based team members.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with U.S. audit practices, financial reporting concepts, and assurance engagement workflows.
- Experience using audit documentation software, Microsoft Office, and collaboration tools such as Teams, SharePoint, or similar platforms.

Work Schedule and Collaboration Expectations
This position requires an overnight India shift to provide meaningful overlap with U.S. business hours. The Associate Manager, Assurance Accountant is expected to participate in virtual meetings, respond timely to engagement team requests, provide status updates, and maintain consistent availability during the agreed-upon work schedule.
