Role Overview

Irish Expert LLP is seeking an Immigration Lawyer to support its immigration, visa, global mobility and cross-border advisory operations. The role combines client consultation, visa application support, immigration legal research, document verification, due diligence, embassy/consulate coordination, cross border transaction review and regulatory compliance. The Immigration Lawyer will be expected to continuously develop knowledge of the immigration, visa, employment and regulatory frameworks of the jurisdictions handled by Irish Expert LLP and provide legally sound support throughout the client journey.

Key Responsibilities

Client Consultation Immigration Advisory

- Conduct consultations with clients to understand their profile, immigration objectives, eligibility and requirements.

- Assess client cases and assist in identifying appropriate visa, immigration, residency, work permit and global mobility pathways.

- Explain applicable eligibility requirements, documentation, procedures, timelines and regulatory conditions to clients.

- Assist in preparing case assessments, legal opinions and advisory notes for immigration matters.

- Provide legal clarification and support in client grievances or escalated immigration matters.

Visa Applications Immigration Processing

- Review and support the preparation of visa, immigration, residency and work permit applications.

- Verify application forms, declarations, supporting documents and representations prior to submission.

- Ensure applications are prepared in accordance with the requirements of the relevant immigration authority, embassy, consulate or visa processing authority.

- Coordinate with embassies, consulates, visa application centres and immigration authorities, wherever required and permissible.

- Review communications received from immigration authorities and assist in responding to requests for additional information, documents or clarification.

- Review visa refusals, objections and procedural issues and assist in determining the appropriate response or available remedy.

Foreign Immigration Laws Regulatory Research

- Research and continuously learn the immigration laws, visa regulations, work permit requirements and mobility frameworks of relevant foreign jurisdictions.

- Monitor changes in immigration legislation, government policies, visa categories and eligibility requirements.

- Research foreign statutes, regulations, government notifications and official immigration guidance.

- Prepare internal legal updates and regulatory notes for Management and relevant departments.

- Assist in developing jurisdiction-specific legal and compliance frameworks when Irish Expert LLP introduces new countries, immigration pathways or services.

Due Diligence, KYC/KYB UBO Screening

- Conduct legal and regulatory due diligence on clients, overseas employers, sponsors, business partners, service providers and other relevant entities.

- Conduct and review KYC/KYB and Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO)



identification and screening.

- Review corporate ownership and control structures and supporting documentation.

- Verify company registrations, licences, corporate records, authorised representatives and other relevant information concerning counterparties.

- Conduct appropriate sanctions, adverse-information and compliance screening wherever applicable.

- Identify potential legal, regulatory, compliance, reputational or transactional risks and escalate material concerns.

Cross-Border Transactions Document Verification

- Review legal and supporting documents relating to cross-border transactions and international engagements.

- Verify agreements, invoices, declarations, corporate documents, payment related documentation and supporting records from a legal and compliance perspective.

- Verify the identity, ownership, authority and supporting documentation of foreign counterparties.

- Coordinate with Finance, Compliance and Management where cross-border payments or transactions require additional legal or regulatory verification.

- Identify inconsistencies, deficiencies or potential compliance concerns in documentation supporting cross-border transactions.

- Assist in ensuring that the purpose, parties and supporting documentation of international transactions are appropriately documented.

Legal Documentation Contracts

- Draft and review client agreements, declarations, undertakings, consent forms, authorisations and other immigration-related legal documentation.

- Review agreements with overseas partners, employers, sponsors and service providers.

- Review client-facing documentation and representations from a legal and regulatory perspective.

- Assist in drafting and reviewing SOPs, compliance policies and internal legal controls.

- Maintain proper legal documentation and records relating to immigration and cross-border matters.

Regulatory Legal Coordination

- Coordinate with immigration authorities, embassies, consulates, government departments and other relevant authorities wherever required.

- Assist in preparing replies, representations and formal correspondence concerning immigration and regulatory matters.

- Coordinate with ICLC/external legal counsel where litigation, regulatory disputes or specialised legal representation is required.

- Maintain records of regulatory communications, due-diligence reports, legal opinions and supporting documentation.

- Escalate significant legal or regulatory risks to Management.

Qualification Experience

- LL.B. from a recognised university.

- 0-2 years of experience.





- Fresh graduates with strong legal research, drafting and communication skills may apply.

- Enrolment with a State Bar Council is preferred.

- Previous exposure to immigration law, visa processing, global mobility, corporate/commercial law, regulatory compliance or cross-border transactions will be an advantage, but is not mandatory.

- Strong legal research and drafting capabilities.

- Ability and willingness to learn and interpret foreign immigration laws, visa regulations, work permit requirements and relevant foreign regulatory frameworks.

- Ability to conduct skilled client consultations and communicate legal and procedural requirements clearly.

- Strong attention to detail while reviewing visa applications and supporting documentation.

- Basic understanding of KYC/KYB, UBO screening, due diligence and corporate documentation will be an advantage.

- Interest in international law, cross-border transactions, immigration and global mobility.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Ability to independently research unfamiliar legal and regulatory issues.

- High standards of confidentiality, accuracy and professional responsibility.

Reporting Coordination

The Immigration Lawyer will be based at Irish Expert LLP, Hyderabad, Telangana, and will work closely with the Management, Operations, Compliance, Finance and Client Service teams. The Immigration Lawyer will also coordinate with ICLC and/or external legal counsel for litigation, dispute resolution and matters requiring specialised legal representation.

Role Objective

To provide end-to-end legal and regulatory support to Irish Expert LLPs immigration and global mobility operations from client consultation and visa application review to foreign regulatory research, due diligence, UBO screening, cross-border document verification and regulatory coordination while ensuring that every matter is handled in accordance with applicable legal, regulatory, compliance and professional standards.
