Role & responsibilities
- Good understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and basic tax compliance.
- Check vouchers, ledgers, expenses, invoices, and bank reconciliations.
- Identify errors, discrepancies, and irregularities in financial transactions.
- Assist in conducting internal audits and process checks.
- Maintain proper audit working papers, checklists, observations, and reports.
- Prepare audit findings and follow up on closure of observations.
- Comfortable working on MS Excel and handling basic data analysis.
- Support the Audit/Finance team in other audit-related activities as required.
Preferred candidate profile
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter
- An ideal candidate would have 24 years of experience in audit, solid Excel skills, and preferably prior exposure to FMCG/Alcobev distribution, inventory, distributor audits, claims
