Civil Engineer - Substation construction and civil site execution

Diploma in Civil Engineering; at least 2 years in construction; drawing interpretation; independent RA bill preparation; coordination with GETCO, contractors and project stakeholders

- Read civil and structural drawings, identify site requirements and coordinate drawing clarifications with the engineering or project team.
- Monitor civil works such as equipment foundations and plinths, cable trenches, roads, drains, fencing and control-room or building works, where included in the package.
- Check dimensions, levels, reinforcement, embedded items and concrete work against approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate day-to-day work with GETCO representatives, civil contractors,



electrical teams and other site stakeholders.
- Track labour, materials, equipment and daily progress; raise delays, drawing issues and site constraints early.
- Measure completed work and prepare RA bills independently with supporting measurement sheets and records.
- Maintain daily reports, inspection requests, work measurements, material records and progress photographs.
- Follow site safety and quality procedures and support inspections, snag closure and handover documentation.
