Job Title: US Collections Skip Trace Team Lead

Job Summary -

We are looking for an experienced US Collections / Skip Tracing Team Lead to manage skip-tracing activities and support debt recovery operations. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the US collections process, skip tracing, compliance, investigation, and team handling.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a team handling US Collections and Skip Tracing activities.
- Use skip-tracing tools and databases such as LexisNexis, Accurint, CLEAR, TLOxp, and credit bureau data.
- Conduct detailed research using public records, internet searches, and other available sources to locate hard-to-find customers.
- Verify and analyse information before sharing findings with collections or recovery teams.
- Ensure all activities comply with applicable US regulations, data privacy requirements, and FDCPA guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of skip-tracing activities, findings, and case outcomes.
- Develop effective strategies for locating difficult-to-contact customers and accounts.
- Coordinate with Collections, Legal, Compliance, and Recovery teams.
- Monitor team performance, productivity, quality, and case status.




- Prepare regular reports on team performance, skip-tracing results, and pending cases.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and support to team members.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of overall experience with relevant experience in US Collections / Skip Tracing.
- Robust US Process / US Collections experience.
- Prior Team Lead / Team Handling experience.
- Strong knowledge of Skip Tracing and debt recovery processes.
- Good understanding of US collections compliance and FDCPA.
- Excellent investigative and analytical skills.
- Experience with skip-tracing software and online databases.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and computer applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to handle confidential information and maintain accurate records.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with CLEAR, TLOxp, Accurint, LexisNexis, or similar skip-tracing platforms.
- Experience in collections, debt recovery, compliance, legal support, or related investigative operations.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Legal Studies, or a related field is preferred.
- Debt collection certification is an added advantage.
