- MS SQL Server Database Administration experience.

• Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

• Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.

• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.

• Hands-on experience in Disaster Recovery solutions like Always on, Log-Shipping, Mirroring & Replication.

• Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory.

Working knowledge of clusters, HA ,DR.

• Knowledge of SQL Server tools (Profiler, DTA, SSMS, SSCM, PerfMon, DMVs, DBCCs).

Should have good knowledge of database monitoring.

Hands-on experience of implementation of Security policies.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Ability to organize and plan work independently.

Ability to work in a rapidly changing setting.

Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams.Role & responsibilities
