We are looking for a skilled Kafka Administrator / Platform Engineer with robust hands-on experience in Kafka, Linux, Kubernetes, and AWS to support and manage enterprise-scale messaging and streaming platforms.
Must Have Skills
Apache/Confluent Kafka Administration
Linux Administration
Kubernetes
AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch)
Production Support & Troubleshooting
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain Kafka clusters.
Manage brokers, topics, partitions, replication, and retention policies.
Perform Kafka monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.
Handle Kafka cluster upgrades, patching, and production incidents.
Administer Linux servers and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
Support and manage containerized workloads on Kubernetes.
Manage AWS infrastructure and cloud resources.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure platform reliability.
