Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and business development in the assigned area.
- Develop business through builders, developers, architects, contractors, dealers and project customers.
- Generate current project leads and convert them into sales.
- Manage existing customers and develop new business relationships.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Manage the sales pipeline, follow-ups and order closures.
- Monitor market activities, competitor pricing and new business opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams for quotations, orders, dispatches and collections.
Mandatory Requirements
- Must have experience in the Building Material Industry.
- 6+ years of experience in Area Sales / Project Sales.
- Strong market knowledge and customer network in the assigned territory.
- Good communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
Preferred: Candidates from Architectural Hardware, Doors & Windows, Sanitaryware, Tiles, Flooring, Facade, Lighting, Electrical or related Building Material industries.
