Job Title: Workday Tester

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Workday Tester with experience in testing Workday HCM and related modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating Workday implementations, configurations, integrations, and enhancements to ensure high-quality, error-free deployments across HR business processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Workday applications.
- Perform Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate Workday business processes, workflows, security roles, and data configurations.
- Test Workday modules such as:
- Core HCM
- Recruiting
- Compensation
- Benefits
- Absence Management
- Payroll
- Talent & Performance
- Learning

- Verify inbound and outbound integrations.
- Validate EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio Integrations, and third-party interfaces.
- Work closely with business users, functional consultants, and integration teams to understand requirements.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects through resolution.
- Prepare test summary reports and quality metrics.




- Support Workday releases and regression testing activities.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in Workday Testing.
- Strong understanding of Workday HCM business processes.
- Experience in:
- Functional Testing
- Integration Testing
- Data Validation
- End-to-End Testing
- Regression Testing
- UAT Support

- Knowledge of Workday security, business process frameworks, and reporting.
- Experience testing Workday integrations, EIBs, APIs, and Core Connectors.
- Familiarity with defect management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or ALM.
- Knowledge of test automation tools is an added advantage.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, HRIS, or related field.
- Workday Certification or Workday implementation experience preferred.
- Experience in at least one full-cycle Workday implementation or support project.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Workday Payroll testing.
- Workday Reporting and Prism Analytics exposure.
- Automation testing experience using Selenium, Tosca, or similar tools.
- Experience working in global HR transformation projects.
