Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Overseas Education Counsellor to guide students aspiring to pursue higher education abroad. The candidate will be responsible for understanding students academic and career goals, recommending suitable countries, universities, and courses, and supporting them throughout the admission process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Counsel students regarding study abroad opportunities, countries, universities, and courses.
- Understand students' academic background, career goals, budget, and preferences to recommend suitable options.
- Provide accurate information about university eligibility, admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, and intakes.
- Handle student enquiries through calls, walk-ins, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
- Convert prospective student enquiries into successful admissions.
- Follow up with leads regularly and maintain proper records in the CRM.
- Assist students with the university application and admission process.
- Coordinate with university representatives and internal processing teams whenever required.
- Explain application procedures, required documents, timelines, and admission conditions.
- Guide students regarding English language requirements such as IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, etc.
- Provide basic guidance on education loans, scholarships, accommodation, and other study-abroad requirements.
- Coordinate with the visa processing team and ensure students are properly handed over for further visa assistance.




- Maintain robust relationships with students and provide regular updates throughout the process.
- Achieve assigned monthly counselling, application, and conversion targets.
- Participate in education fairs, university events, seminars, webinars, and student counselling sessions.
- Stay updated on changes in university policies, admission requirements, intakes, and study-abroad trends.

Required Skills:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong counselling and convincing abilities.
- Good knowledge of overseas education destinations and universities.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple student enquiries and follow-ups.
- Target-oriented and results-driven approach.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Experience in overseas education counselling, admissions, student recruitment, or education consultancy will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Candidates with experience in handling UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Ireland, Germany, or European destinations will be preferred.

- Candidates should have a strong passion for helping students achieve their international education goals.
- Should be comfortable working with monthly targets and performance-based objectives.
