Oversees the creation and modification of detailed drawings using CAD hardware and software from vendor information that could be a 3D file, a 2D AutoCAD drawing, or a.pdf.
Final output is assemblies in Inventor to be converted to AutoCAD blocks via Factory Design Utilities (FDU), Revit families , and documented point of connection information from the vendors for each component. Will manage the production schedule for the CAD Technicians through collaboration with the customer.
Will perform QA/QC on the final output from the CAD Technicians by checking the Inventor, AutoCAD, and Revit assets to ensure that the standards are met.
May work with system management including file maintenance, backup, and storage.
