Job Title: Tech Lead

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead with 12 to 18 years of experience to lead our development team and take ownership of the AI architecture for FamPilot. The ideal candidate should be a hands-on technical leader with strong expertise in Generative AI, Python, FastAPI, RAG, agent orchestration, databases, cloud deployment, and production systems.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and guide the development team while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Own the design, development, and implementation of FamPilot's AI architecture.
- Design and develop AI/GenAI solutions using LangGraph, LlamaIndex, RAG pipelines, LLMs, and AI memory systems.
- Build scalable backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL/pgvector solutions for structured data and vector search.
- Develop agent workflows, tool integrations, state management, and multi-step AI orchestration using LangGraph.
- Design and implement RAG pipelines using LlamaIndex, including ingestion, embeddings, retrieval, and contextual responses.
- Implement secure multi-tenant data isolation and ensure appropriate access controls for user and family data.
- Design secure, scalable, and reliable APIs with appropriate authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and manage production-ready CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with AWS services such as ECR, EC2, and Secrets Manager for cloud deployment and infrastructure.
- Conduct technical reviews, architecture assessments, code reviews,



and identify performance, security, and scalability improvements.
- Troubleshoot complex technical and production issues and drive effective solutions.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and development tasks.
- Establish coding standards, architecture guidelines, development practices, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery.
- Stay updated with emerging AI, LLM, RAG, agentic AI, and AI application architecture trends and technologies.

Required Skills

- 12 to 18 years of software development experience with relevant experience in technical leadership.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and FastAPI.
- Robust knowledge of Generative AI/LLMs, RAG, and AI architecture.
- Hands-on experience with LangGraph and agent orchestration.
- Experience with LlamaIndex and RAG frameworks.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL and pgvector.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD, API security, and production deployments.
- Experience with AWS ECR, EC2, Secrets Manager.
- Strong understanding of multi-tenant architecture and data isolation.
- Proven experience managing and mentoring development teams.
- Node.js experience is preferred.
