Job Summary

As a Junior Fullstack Developer, your mission extends far beyond simply coding. You are an elite member of our technology team. You will work closely with STV's Product and Operations team and directly report to the Senior Developer. You must have a great sense of responsibility, be autonomous and able to quickly adapt and adjust to changing priorities. All this while keeping an eye on critical deadlines. You will be accomplishing very wide-ranging technology related tasks such as:

- Creating programs, algorithms and functions from scratch
- App development on Flutter platform
- Finding solutions to complex issues through structured and creative thinking
- Ready to work on Machine learning and Big data analysis
- Quality assurance and bug fixes as well as bringing enhancements to existing functions
- Brainstorming and creating user interfaces and ergonomic enhancements (UI / UX)
- Producing KPIs

Requirements

What are we looking for

We are looking for a minimum of 2+ years of coding experience working at a technology company as part of their web and or mobile app product or service development team. This individual's primary focus will be to work with Senior Developer and convert the BRD into a robust product that would be later beta tested. We are looking for someone with skills and experience with Flutter, React Native and someone who can quickly grow into a contributor role.

Prerequisites for this role are:

Programming and development:

- Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong knowledge and experience in Hybrid apps - Flutter by Google
- Advanced knowledge of Node.js, HTML5/CSS3
- Knowledge in end-to-end mobile application development (Android/iOS) is preferred
- Exposure in IDEs like Xcode, IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse
- Exposure or working experience with multiple API integration, Push notification, Payment gateway integration
- API development experience will be an added advantage
- General knowledge in GitHub is a plus!

In this role your responsibilities will be:

- Development and maintenance of the IT platform (the product)
- Complete activities and delivery results in start-up environment
- Be versatile throughout our entire development, QA cycle and roles
- Documentation and reporting support
- Work with our internal and external team to build and maintain iOS and Android applications
- Work with our leaders and back-end team to estimate timelines for recent features and new applications
- Participate in API planning development for our applications
- Coordinate with and assist design team in UX and product development
- Investigate and fix bugs
