ServiceNow Core Developer Contract Management

Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on ServiceNow Core Developer with 56 years of development experience to design, develop, customize, integrate, and enhance ServiceNow applications.
Hands-on experience in ServiceNow Contract Management is mandatory.
This is a pure development role focused on scripting, customization, integrations, workflow automation, application development, debugging, and deployment. Candidates with primarily Admin, Functional, Coordination, or Support experience will not be suitable.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable ServiceNow solutions and custom applications based on business requirements.
- Configure and customize tables, modules, forms, fields, data models, and applications.
- Work extensively on ServiceNow Contract Management, including:
- Contract lifecycle management
- Contract records and templates
- Approvals and notifications
- Contract renewals and expirations
- Contract-related workflows and automation
- Develop server-side and client-side JavaScript using Glide APIs.
- Build and maintain:
- Business Rules
- Script Includes
- Client Scripts
- UI Actions
- UI Policies
- ACLs
- Scripted REST APIs
- Scheduled Jobs
- Notifications
- Design workflow automation using Flow Designer, including custom Actions and Subflows.
- Develop and maintain REST/SOAP integrations, with IntegrationHub experience preferred.
- Perform data migration using Import Sets, Transform Maps, Data Sources, and related ServiceNow tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve scripting, workflow, integration, data, and performance issues.
- Refactor and optimize existing customizations and scripts.
- Perform unit, integration, regression testing, and defect resolution.
- Manage deployments across Development, Test, and Production environments using Update Sets and ServiceNow best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.
- Support ServiceNow upgrades and resolve customization-related issues.
Required Technical Skills
- 56 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Mandatory: Hands-on ServiceNow Contract Management experience.
- Robust proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow Glide APIs.
- Strong experience with:
- Business Rules
- Script Includes
- Client Scripts
- UI Actions / UI Policies
- ACLs
- Scripted REST APIs
- Scheduled Jobs
- Notifications
- Strong knowledge of Flow Designer / Workflow.
- Experience with REST/SOAP integrations; IntegrationHub is preferred.
- Good understanding of:
- ServiceNow data model
- Application scopes
- Dictionary configuration
- Import Sets & Transform Maps
- Security and ACLs
- Update Sets and deployment practices
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
ServiceNow Module Experience
Experience in any of the following modules is welcome:
ITSM | ITOM | CSM | HRSD | SPM | GRC | SecOps
However, Contract Management experience is mandatory.
Candidate Profile
- Strong hands-on development and scripting background.
- Able to independently analyze requirements and develop end-to-end ServiceNow solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good understanding of ServiceNow development best practices.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Candidates who can join immediately or within 1 week are preferred.
