SR. ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance checks and repairs on electrical devices.
- Detect malfunctions through observation (auditory or visual).
- Run diagnostic tests to check system functionality.
- Repair broken or defective electrical parts.
- Conduct regular and minor repairs of equipment according to the repair plan.
- Perform emergency repairs.
- Select appropriate materials according to electrical requirements.
- Align and compensate electrical parts.
- Monitor and report project progress.
- Manage spare parts usage and identify inventory status according to the spare parts supply and demand plan.
- Acquire technical knowledge to improve facilities and management.
- Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations.
- Supervise and train electrical team members.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare and submit maintenance reports and documentation.
- Create, development and implementation of maintenance strategies and plans.




- Ensure the proper functioning of electrical systems during plant operations.
- Utilize ERP systems for reporting and documentation purposes.
- Inspect electrical installations and systems to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the team.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of recent equipment.
- Ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Ensure the availability of necessary tools and equipment for maintenance tasks.
- Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the team.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with management to report on maintenance activities and issues.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements and skills
- Technical college graduate with at least 10 years of experience, along with years of equipment maintenance experience in a steel company.
