Role: FOS – Field Officer Sales*

*Department: Merchant Acquiring & Business Development*

*Key Responsibilities:*

1. *Merchant Acquisition*

- Visit market areas daily to pitch SBI Payments products: POS, QR, Sound Box

- Source recent merchants through cold calling, market visits, and referrals

- Explain product features, MDR, settlement cycle, and benefits to merchants

2. *Onboarding & Activation*

- Collect KYC documents and complete digital onboarding through FOS app

- Coordinate Sound Box/POS installation and ensure device activation

- Complete first login and live transaction with merchant post installation

3. *Target Achievement*

- Meet monthly targets for onboarding, activations, and transaction value

- Focus on high-volume merchant segments: retail, grocery, fuel, pharmacy

- Drive Sound Box and QR penetration in assigned territory

4. *Merchant Servicing*

- Handle basic merchant queries on settlement,



chargeback, and device usage

- Train merchants on app, paper roll change, and support toll-free numbers

- Ensure merchant retention and increase per-merchant transaction volume

5. *Reporting*

- Update daily DSR and onboarding status in company CRM/app

- Maintain proper KYC and compliance as per RBI guidelines

- Attend team meetings and share market feedback with ASM/TL

*Key Skills Required:*

- Strong sales and negotiation skills

- Local language fluency + basic Hindi/English

- Comfortable with field work and daily travel

- Must have two-wheeler and smartphone

*Qualification:* 12th pass minimum, Graduate preferred

*Experience:* 0-3 years in field sales – banking, telecom, FMCG, fintech preferred

*Compensation:* Fixed salary + incentives
